In 1969, we entered into an agency agreement with Mitsubishi Plastics Industries Ltd. (the present Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation) and began selling blister container film. We have maintained a high market share for high-grade moisture-proof PVC/PVDC composite sheet as well as PVC/CPP film for PTPs.

Conformance to various standards

PVC sheets are produced in calendering facilities with precision sheeting technology, and CPP sheets are produced in multi-layer extrusion facilities with compounding technology. All products comply with Japanese and overseas standards such as MHLW notifications and FDA and PL standards.

PVC sheet for Blister pack (PTP) (product name: Vinyfoil C® for Blister pack (PTP))

We manufacture the 2 types below to their quality requirements along with the material of medication for Vinyfoil for Blister pack (PTP).

■ Rigid polyvinyl chloride sheet (PVC)

Rigid polyvinyl chloride sheets are manufactured at an accurate calendar facility and sheeting technology begins from the requirement of GMP product control system for pharmaceutical product packaging materials, it is registered to the FDA’s (Food and Drug Administration) Master file (DMF) and conforms to the Notice of the Ministry of Health and Welfare No.201 (2007), and JHP standard of Japan Hygienic PVC Association. We manufacture various grades in order to meet quality requirements such as dampproofing, light blocking effects and deep drawing formability.

■ High-dampproofing sheet (PVC/PVDC)

This is a high-dampproofing sheet mainly compounded of rigid polyvinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride. Dampproofing effectiveness increases compared to rigid polyvinyl chloride sheet.

■ High-dampproofing sheet (PVC / PCTFE)

This is a high-dampproofing sheet mainly compounded of rigid polyvinyl chloride and polychlorotrifluoroethylene. Dampproofing effectiveness is extremely high compared to a single layered product of rigid polyvinyl chloride sheets.

CPP sheet for Blister pack (PTP) (product name: super foil for Blister pack (PTP)®)

This is a CPP sheet developed for Blister pack (PTP). Until recently, using CPP sheet to Blister pack (PTP) had problems such as formability and transparency. However, these problems have since been solved. It is manufactured based on the idea of GMP being the same as PVC sheet for Blister pack (PTP) and it is registered to the PL standard of the drug master file of the FDA and the Japan Hygienic Olefin And Styrene Plastics Association and conforms to the Notice of the Ministry of Health and Welfare No.201 (2007). We manufacture the E series of single layer grade and EA series of multiplayer for different purposes.
